Nathan.... Sometimes I really wonder...

Friday was a snow day, so in Texas that means school is closed and you want to stay off the roads... Well with that the kids and I stayed in trying to keep warm... Watched lots of movies and just snuggled.... Ofcoarse we snacked too.... Nathan was in the kitchen and started to make himself something to eat... I didn't think much about it since he is 8 and gets himself food all the time... He knows that if it has to be cooked then an adult needs to help... Well the next thing I know he says "Mom can you heat this up for me." So I went to get his plate of what I thought was nachos that needed to be warmed... Ends up being chips covered with marshmallow... Hmm that does not look good.... "Are you really going to eat this?" I asked. "Ofcoarse mom thats why I made it." I then took his plate and placed it in the micorwave and warmed it for 20 seconds... The marshmallows became really big and gooey.. As I pulled the plate out Nathan said " They look perfect." I figured after his first one they would end up in the trash.... I was wrong he thoroughly enjoyed all of them... Only a 8 year old..... lol I love my creative little boy... Its moments like that when you just can't help but smile...
